Another successful lakeside removal completed by Garno’s Tree Service!

Our crew was called out to Devils Lake to safely remove a large dying silver maple located right along the water’s edge. The tree was carefully dismantled in sections to ensure a safe and controlled removal process.

Once the tree was removed, we hauled away all debris, ground the stump, and left the area clean and reclaimed.

With all the high winds we’ve been experiencing lately, storm damage has been hitting close to home. We recently helped a customer with a damaged Crimson King Maple that had taken a beating.

The homeowner initially tried to tackle the job himself and started dismantling the tree, but quickly realized it was best left to professionals. That’s when he gave us a call—and we got him taken care of safely and efficiently.

Our crew finished dismantling the tree, ground the stump, and cleaned up all debris, leaving the property looking great and hazard-free.

This is a special year for us! We’ve had the incredible opportunity to sponsor the Blissfield Little League. Had a customer call us out to evaluate a large magnolia tree on their property. After a thorough inspection, we discovered significant decay in one of the main trunks. Unfortunately, this compromised the structural integrity of the tree and created a high risk for failure of a major limb.

At that point, the tree was no longer a safe or valuable asset to the property, so the best option was a full removal. Our crew safely dismantled the tree, cleaned up all debris, and left the area prepped and ready for a fresh start and new grass.

Sometimes removal is the hardest decision—but safety and long-term value always come first.

We had the pleasure of helping out a wonderful couple, Jahn and Pam, with a unique project this week! 🌿

Their property has some very large, mature wisteria vines that had really taken off over the years. Instead of removing them, we decided to take a more strategic approach and trim them back heavily as a bit of an experiment to see how well they regenerate.

Wisteria is an incredibly vigorous plant, and with the right pruning it can often come back even stronger—producing fresh new vines and an abundance of beautiful flowers. 🌸

We’re excited to see how these vines respond over the coming seasons.
