Derek oversees excavation projects at MatCor, helping ensure every job runs smoothly from the ground up. With extensive experience in excavation and site work, he plays a key role in coordinating projects, managing crews, and making sure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. His strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail make him a trusted leader and an important part of the MatCor team.

When he's not on the job site, Derek enjoys spending time outdoors. You'll often find him hunting, river fishing for salmon, or hitting the golf course during the summer months. In the winter, he stays active playing hockey and snowmobiling, taking full advantage of Alaska's outdoor recreation opportunities. His passion for hard work, adventure, and the outdoors reflects the same dedication he brings to every project he manages.
