We were recently called out for a leaking toilet and what we discovered once we got into the job was more than just a standard repair. This one had some surprises hiding inside that needed to be addressed immediately.

We recently replaced another water heater that failed well before its time — this one only 4 years old. At this point we have to ask — is this a coincidence or a pattern? The answer is clear. This is absolutely a pattern. 🤔

Here’s what we keep seeing: 🚫

🚫 Water heaters failing at 3, 4, and 5 years old in homes with salt softener systems
🚫 Softened water is significantly more aggressive on the anode rod — depleting it far faster than untreated water
🚫 Once the anode rod is gone the tank corrodes rapidly from the inside out
