Not only was today the start of our first install of 2026 with one of the best heat pumps on the market, Mitsubishi Electric Trane US, but it was quite interesting as well. During the morning rain storm we had to make a decision to stay or ride out the storm as the water rose over the creek crossing leading to the home. We opted to ride it out in hopes it would drop in the afternoon so we could leave. As the day was coming to a close the creek had dropped enough to cross, but the rain started to come down heavy again. We rushed to get stuff put away and barley made over the creek crossing, driving blind through the winding crossing. There was also a one eyed cat named peanut. And the awesome homeowner opted to bless us with some delicious grilled cheese and tomato soup. In all it's made for quite the start to 2026.
