Post Frame vs. Stud Frame—what’s the difference?

Post-frame construction is an excellent choice for shops, garages, equipment storage, and other buildings where large, open spaces are important.

However, if your building will include living quarters, stud-frame construction is often the better option. The evenly spaced wall cavities make it easier to install insulation, electrical wiring, plumbing, drywall, and other residential finishes.

Choosing the right construction method from the beginning can make a big difference in the comfort and functionality of your finished building.
