ATTN Members: The meeting today will be postponed to Wednesday Nov. 6th at 7pm in the Machine Tool Lab conference room. Please attend the ABC student chapter meeting tomorrow to discuss the plans for upcoming events and fundraisers.

Great to see everyone at the meeting! We will be holding elections next week for officers. If you are interested in becoming an officer please e-mail [email protected] for the position you are nominating yourself for.

The positions are as follows. Remember this is a group effort and other members will have responsibilities as well.

Historian- In charge of recruiting. The recruiting tasks include posting about meetings (FC,FB and making flyers), you will also be tasked with organizing members to attend events like the presidents dinner and other tabling events where we can get new members.

Parliamentarian- In charge of community service projects. The community service projects tasks will include organizing community service projects and identifying potential community service projects.

Treasure- In charge of fund raising. The fund raising tasks will include organizing fund raising opportunities, running the fund raisers.

Secretary- In charge of scheduling speakers. The secretary will contact prominent industry figures to come speak to the group.

Vice President and President- In charge of scheduling events. These tasks include events such as the Craft Championships and job site visits.

Hey everyone we are going to have a meeting this coming Tuesday at 4:00 in 310 boardman hall with the representatives from the ABC national chapter. There will be pizza and drinks! Hope you can all attend! Comment on here or message the abc page if you can be there!

The ABC golf tournament was an absolute hit yesterday. We raised over 300 dollars for the student chapter! We would like to thank everyone who participated and made a contribution.

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the late notice, the ABC golf tournament is this coming Friday the 7th at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro. Its a great opportunity to network with Maine construction professionals as well as generate money for the chapter.

The group needs to have at least 2 student members at our hole. I (Patrick) will be going and will be leaving from Portland so I can give people a ride to and from the tournament. We need to be there for 7 am for set up.

Please let me know right away if you can go.
