How fun is this one? 🤩
One of the prints being listed this weekend: Rainbow Molecules.
I don’t know if I told this story yet. A quick scroll through my history says no, but it could be on another account. When I first met my partner, I didn’t play video games. The most experience I had was playing Animal Crossing during the pandemic, like everyone else stuck at home. But gaming was a big part of his life that he wanted to share with me, so he convinced me to try a game called Vampire Survivors with him.
We would end up playing until 4 in the morning some nights, and after a few sessions, we developed a routine. Every time there was a mystery prize box spinning on the screen, there would be flashing lights and colors and perky music… kinda like a slot machine. You would see the two of us bopping our heads back and forth singing “serotonin, dopamine, dopamine, dopamine…” we’d joke that it was the reason we couldn’t stop playing the game, our brains were addicted to the feeling! (Actually, true.)
About 2 years ago, I had this design custom made in honor of him and everything he has brought into my life, best of all: our son. I figured plenty of us need the dopamine and serotonin and might appreciate this.
