Concrete day at our Hills Farm Lake model home! 🎉

One thing we intentionally changed from our last model? A circular driveway.

Because let's be honest...
🚗 You can never have too much parking.
🚗 No one likes backing out into the street.
🚗 Holiday gatherings somehow turn into 14 cars in the street & driveway.

A circular drive instantly adds convenience, curb appeal, and that "wow" factor the moment you pull up.

Now we just have to let Mother Nature do her thing while the concrete cures... then it's on to the next exciting phase! 👊🏡

Someone had to spend the day picking out beautiful flooring, tile, and carpet for our new Hills Farm Lake Model Home!

A huge thank you to Flooring NuVo and our talented designer, Andrew Breinig, for helping Bri and me bring the vision to life and narrow down the perfect combination of textures, colors, and finishes. And of course, a special shout-out to our four-legged design assistant, Audry, who made sure every selection met her approval. 🐶😂

Arches are back... but this time, they're a little more subtle. 🤍

We closed on this beautiful custom home today, and one of our favorite things about it is how the soft arches add just enough architectural interest without overwhelming the space. Not everywhere. Not overdone. Just a few thoughtfully placed curves that soften the clean lines and make the open floor plan feel extra special.

And can we talk about the fireplace? 😍 We're seeing more homeowners move toward simple, understated fireplace walls rather than elaborate built-ins—and we love it! This one features a beautiful cast stone fireplace surround, adding just the right amount of texture and architectural detail while keeping the overall look clean and timeless. No oversized feature wall needed—the cast surround makes a statement all on its own and lets the architecture, natural light, and beautiful wood floors do the talking.

Clean. Timeless. Warm. And proof that sometimes the simplest details make the biggest impact.
