Thanks for joining us, Mike Glover of KWTV - NEWS 9! It was a great day of fishing and fun with students from Urban Bridge and The University of Oklahoma football athletes. Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) supplied poles and led fishing and safety instruction. Then Ritz Safety provided offsite fish for students to learn how to clean and cook—and later enjoy! Students also each received their own fishing pole and tackle box from All N One Marine & Powersports. Thank you to all other partners and volunteers who made this fishing clinic one to remember!🎣 See highlights from the day: https://bit.ly/4uWInUe

OG&E has experienced no outages today affecting either the circuit or the meter serving Devon Park during the live Women’s College World Series broadcast. Any broadcast disruptions were not related to electric service as originally reported by some outlets and were solely technical broadcast issues. OG&E has provided uninterrupted service to the stadium throughout the national telecast. We are happy to power the Women’s College World Series for broadcasts to fans all over the world to see. Big scholarships. 💰 Bigger opportunities. 📈

Over the last few weeks, we've been on the road awarding our OG&E Positive Energy Scholars for 2026. These outstanding high school seniors are set to power the future workforce as they pursue STEM degrees. Their dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and community service is shaping a bright future for us all!

Each scholar will receive up to $60,000 over the course of four years to use on tuition, books, fees, and on-campus room and board.

Let’s give a round of applause one more time for these amazing first-generation college students:

• Anthony — Northside High School / University of Arkansas
• Makayla — Lone Grove High School / East Central University
• Rishi — Putnam City High School / The University of Oklahoma

Since 2019, we’ve awarded 24 Positive Energy Scholarships – totaling more than $1.4 million – to high school seniors across our service area.

OG&E loved partnering with Organic Squeeze on our Positive Energy Boost smoothies. We were thrilled to support a local business and enjoyed every sip.
