Reminder... 🍂🍁

As the weather begins to cool off... leaves will begin to fall.

Be sure to remove all leaves and debris from your pool and spa. If you have trees around you, Oklahoma winds will do the rest. Leaves in your swimming pool can clog the drain and prevent your pool filter and pump from effectively cleaning the water, not to mention the dirt and insects they may bring into your pool.

Throw wet leaves into a trash bin, or they will dry up in the wind and blow back in. This can be a never-ending battle.

More than just a nuisance, leaf buildup can harm pools over time, and people who don’t maintain them reduce their pool’s lifespan by 50% or more.

Remember... routine maintenance now will save you time and money in the future.

💦 When is the right time to close your swimming pool? 💦

In Oklahoma, the best time to close your pool is when the water temperature consistently stays below 65°F.

🌡️ Why does this matter?
Closing too early - while the water is still warm - can lead to algae growth, which means a messy and more expensive spring opening. And YES, it is still in the 90's in mid-September! 🤦‍♀️
