We just wrapped a back patio in our Basalt flake blend and it turned out exactly the way we hoped. Deep greys with that natural stone look, tough enough to handle everyday foot traffic and West Texas weather without losing its shine.

If you’ve got a patio that’s cracked, stained, or just plain tired of being plain concrete, this is the fix. We grind the surface instead of using a cheap acid etch, which means the coating actually bonds instead of sitting on top waiting to peel. Then it’s flake, then a polyaspartic top coat that seals the whole thing up tight.

Before any coating goes down, we grind the concrete to open up the surface so the epoxy can properly bond, skipping this step is one of the biggest reasons floors fail early.

Next, we install a moisture v***r barrier. Concrete naturally pushes moisture up from below, and if that’s not addressed first, it leads to bubbling, delamination, and coating failure down the road. This step alone saves homeowners from a lot of headaches.

Then comes the patch work, filling cracks, pits, and any damaged areas so the final surface is smooth and even before the epoxy is ever applied.

Only after all of that is done do we move into the black and white metallic pour you see in this video.

This is the process that separates a floor that lasts a couple years from one that holds up for a decade. No shortcuts, ever.

My name's Rigo Huerta. Born and raised right here in Odessa.
For years, I managed social media for other companies — watching them grow, helping them land customers, learning what actually works out here in West Texas. And the whole time, I kept thinking: I want to build something of my own. Something I can put my name on.
