Heres an update on a couple fun projects we had lately. Built this temporary ramp for a very nice customer over in Granite City. His home was beautiful.
There was also this wall built across the exposed plumbing in the basement of a home in New Baden, as well as some soffit around an hvac duct. The customer had wanted it done for several years. Its so nice to hear how happy folks are when that thing they have wanted dome for years is finally complete!

Were expanding! Very excited to announce the addition of this 2016 Ford Transit van! Now comes the exciting part of going through all the tools and seeing what will be needed to fully equip it, making initial upgrades/repairs. As well as getting decals installed!
However, we cant have 2 vans and one repair specialist... So we will be hiring for a new home repair tech by mid September! If you or anyone you know would like to earn top pay for completing home repair projects, please feel free to reach out. More updates to be posted in the coming weeks ✨️

Okay so I said there would be an updated post once all of the details were finished up. The woman in this picture (my granny) is the reason this business exists in the first place. It is because of this business, I was able to give back to her. She just turned 75.
A little background. She took me and my wife in when we were 8 months pregnant with my daughter. We had nothing more than a budding family and ambition. We wanted to be closer to family after years of traveling. Now, its been nearly 3 years and we will be in a position to buy our first home by the beginning of next year. It has truly been a situation that has helped us all. Shes had surgeries and health issues, and honestly, there were times I couldnt even afford food, much less rent. I kept my head down and built this emerging company, and im so proud of where were headed.

At this point, its pretty apparent that Funk can indeed fix it, but did you know that funk can also build it? This was a birthday present for my Granny. My little brother and I put this pergola together for her this weekend. Obviously there is still some work to be done, but were extremely proud of this build.
I did this deck for her a year ago, and she mentioned she'd like a shade cover. So here it is.
Ill post final pictures when I get the handrail and the shade cloth on.

Here at Funk Can Fix It, we like to be a company that folks can know and trust. Some that follow this page know Dylan as the Funk in F.C.F.I. Heres a few things about him that people might not be aware of. He is an avid outdoorsman, artist, musician, father of two and husband. He enjoys hunting, fishing, canoeing, camping, yoga, and travel. A big goal for him in life is to travel all over the world, seeing as much of this beautiful planet as possible.
He plays multiple instruments and performs with his wife Alicia. They call themselves "The Funks".
In the past, he and Alicia traveled the country in an old motor home, where they lived for 4 years.
Dylan has hiked the entire length of the Appalachian Trail. He took on the challenge in spring of 2022 and finished in the fall. Hiking over 2200 miles through 14 states.
Hopefully this lets you feel like you can get to know Dylan a little better as a human.
Oh and hes barefoot literally all the time.
