In June 1913, the National Electric Light Association (NELA) showcased innovative newspaper campaigns encouraging Americans to embrace the growing use of electricity in their homes and businesses. One of the movement's most memorable slogans was:

"Do It Electrically."

At a time when many households were still transitioning from gas lamps and manual labor, electric utilities and manufacturers worked together to demonstrate how electricity could improve everyday life—a message that helped shape the modern world we live in today.
