Sometimes, the part causing the leak isn't the part you notice first. 💧

A valued homeowner in North Miami called us after noticing a leak around their tankless water heater.

Instead of simply tightening something up and calling it a day, we diagnosed the system to understand where the leak was actually coming from and why.

Our inspection pointed us to the check valve and surrounding piping, including deteriorated cast-iron components that needed attention.

Based on our findings, we presented the homeowner with the recommended repair and completed the necessary cast-iron plumbing work and check valve repair.

After the repair, we tested the system to make sure everything was operating properly.

This is why diagnosis matters.

A leak is the symptom.

The real job is finding the reason behind it.

At Oasis Plumbing, we don't believe in guessing, replacing parts unnecessarily, or treating every leak the same way.

We find the problem, explain what we're seeing, and recommend the repair that makes sense for the home.

Because sometimes, fixing the leak is only half the job.

Understanding why it happened is what helps prevent the next one. 🔧💧

Your water heater just showed an error code.
Your first thought? “Great. Now I need a new water heater.” 😩

Not so fast.

A Miami Beach homeowner called us after both of their Rinnai tankless units showed Error Code 17.

Instead of jumping to replacement, we went looking for the actual problem.

Our team cleaned the units, accessed the affected components, completed the necessary repair and maintenance flushing, then tested both systems.

The error was gone. Both water heaters were working properly. 💧

And this is exactly why we believe in diagnosing before replacing.

An error code is a signal that something needs attention. It isn't automatically a death sentence for your water heater.

Sometimes the answer isn't a new system.

Sometimes it just needs the right technician, the right diagnosis, and the right care.

That can make a pretty big difference to a homeowner.

From inside the home, everything may look completely normal.

But underneath the floor, a very different story can sometimes be unfolding.

When a plumber sees heavily corroded cast-iron piping, aging fittings, and deteriorated connections like these, we don't just see old pipes. We see areas that need to be examined carefully before they turn into a much bigger problem.

And here's something homeowners should know:

Plumbing doesn't always fail the moment it becomes a concern.

Aged piping can continue working while gradually losing strength. A leak may not be visible today, but that doesn't necessarily mean the system is in good condition.

At Oasis Plumbing, we don't believe in looking at one damaged section and immediately telling a homeowner they need to replace everything.

We inspect the system, determine how extensive the deterioration is, explain what we've found, and then help the homeowner understand which solution makes sense.

Because plumbing inspections shouldn't create fear.

They should create clarity about what's happening beneath your home before it becomes an emergency. 💧

Out of all the options we discussed, this was the one that made the most sense for this homeowner.💧

When we help homeowners choose a water filtration system, we don't believe in giving everyone the same answer.

For this Coral Gables home, the Waterdrop X8-A stood out for a few reasons:

💧 10-stage filtration + alkaline mineralization
🚰 800 GPD high-flow capacity
📱 Smart faucet with real-time TDS & filter-life monitoring
📦 Tankless, space-saving design
♻️ 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio
⏳ Long-lasting filter options

But ultimately, it wasn't about having the most features.

It was about finding the features that actually mattered to this homeowner.

That's how we approach filtration at Oasis Plumbing.

We don't start with the product. We start with the home.

Because the best water filtration system isn't necessarily the most expensive one.

It's the one that makes the most sense for the way you live. 💧

Your water bill suddenly jumped. Now what?

For many homeowners, a higher-than-usual water bill can trigger a lot of questions:

“Do I have a leak?”
“Is something happening behind the walls?”
“How much water am I actually losing?”

And that uncertainty can be stressful, especially when you can't see where the water is going.

The good news? Don't panic. Start with a diagnosis.

A running toilet, irrigation leak, faulty fixture, or hidden plumbing leak can all contribute to unexpected water usage. The key is finding the source before assuming the worst.

At Oasis Plumbing, we believe homeowners deserve answers before alarm. We inspect, explain what we're seeing, and help you understand what actually needs attention.

Because sometimes, your water bill isn't just a bill.

It's a clue. 🔎💧

Swipe through to see what could be quietly using more water than you think.

One of the things we pride ourselves on at Oasis Plumbing is being more than just your plumber; we want to be a resource you can count on.

We know how hard it can be to find a contractor who is reliable, trustworthy, and actually does great work.

That’s why, over the years, we’ve built a network of electricians, HVAC companies, restoration contractors, and other professionals that we know and trust ourselves.

When one of our clients needs something outside of plumbing, they’ll often reach out and ask, “Do you know someone you trust?”

And we’re always happy to make that connection.

We only recommend contractors we feel comfortable putting our own name behind. People we trust to take care of our clients the same way we would.

Because being your plumber isn’t just about fixing pipes. It’s about being someone you know you can call when you need help. 🔧💙

📍 Sewer Line Replacement | Miami Beach

The biggest mistake homeowners make?
Waiting until the sewer line completely fails.

The truth is, sewer lines rarely stop working overnight.
They usually leave clues first.

🚿 Slow drains throughout the house.
🚽 Frequent backups.
👃 Sewer odors that keep coming back.
🌱 Unusually green patches in the yard.

These aren't just inconveniences. They're your plumbing system asking for attention.

At Oasis Plumbing, we never recommend replacing a sewer line without first understanding what's happening underground. Every home is different, which is why we inspect, explain, and help homeowners choose the solution that truly makes sense.

Sometimes it's a repair.
Sometimes replacement is the smartest long-term investment.
Because the best time to solve a sewer problem is before it becomes an emergency.

Changing your water filter?

Here's one step many homeowners skip...

Flush the system first. 💧

Over time, sediment and trapped particles can collect inside your filtration unit. If you replace the filters without properly flushing the system, those contaminants can continue circulating through the new filters and reduce their effectiveness.

In this video, our Service Manager explains why flushing your water filtration system before installing new filters is an important part of proper maintenance.

Sometimes, the healthiest water isn't just about changing the filter.

It's about changing it the right way.

Because protecting your family's drinking water starts with the details.

"What's the best smart leak detection system?" 💧

Here's the answer most homeowners don't expect:

There isn't one.

The best system is the one that fits your home.

That's why, at Oasis Plumbing, we don't recommend products first. We recommend what's right for your plumbing system, your lifestyle, and your home's needs.

One of the solutions we trust is the StreamLabs® Smart Leak Detection System, designed to monitor water usage, detect unusual flow, and help catch hidden leaks before they become costly surprises.

Because protecting your home isn't about buying the newest technology.

It's about choosing the right solution with the right plumbing partner.
