Its "Women in Construction Week" and At F.S. Scarbrough, LLC, construction may be what you see in the field, but the backbone of our success is built in the front office every single day.

Today we want to recognize the incredible women who keep our operations moving with precision, professionalism, and strength: Mandy, Latanya, Maggie, Carmen, Shon, Lorena, Dawn, and Amanda.

From contract administration and compliance to accounting, project support, logistics, payroll, HR, and client coordination, they ensure our teams in the field have what they need to deliver complex infrastructure projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Their attention to detail, organization, accountability, and leadership create the structure that allows our superintendents, project managers, and crews to execute at the highest level.

In an industry where ex*****on matters, the systems behind the scenes matter just as much. We are grateful for the commitment, work ethic, and professionalism these women bring to F.S. Scarbrough every day.

F.S. Scarbrough, LLC is the General Contractor for GDOT’s bridge replacement on SR 136 at Burnt Mountain Road in Pickens County, replacing the bridge over Talking Rock Creek.

This full bridge and approach project includes an approximately 130 foot span with two 12 foot travel lanes and 6 foot shoulders, constructed just south of the existing bridge and raised about 3 feet to meet hydraulic requirements.

The project has been publicly discussed as approximately $8 million investment, with an estimated construction duration of about 18 months.

We are well underway in the field, and our subcontractor is currently driving piles for the bridge abutments. Proud to partner with GDOT to deliver durable, high quality infrastructure that improves safety and long term reliability for North Georgia.

Georgia Department of Transportation officials tell Urbanize Atlanta contractor F.S. Scarbrough is moving forward with the conversion of Moreland Avenue (Ga. Highway 42) where it meets Arkwright Place, a connecting point between the Edgewood and Reynoldstown neighborhoods.

City staff recommends awarding the contract to F.S. Scarbrough, which is currently constructing the first and third segments of PATH400.

The Sandy Springs City Council will vote at its Dec. 2 meeting on a $15 million construction contract for the middle PATH400 segment, connecting segments in Buckhead to Central Perimeter.

F.S. Scarbrough, LLC is proud to be well underway on the Georgia DOT Martin Farm Road bridge replacement project in Gwinnett County.

This important infrastructure upgrade replaces the existing bridge over Suwanee Creek with a modern 240 foot long structure designed to improve safety, increase capacity, add a new sidewalk, and enhance long term resilience.

Construction is progressing steadily, with crews currently driving steel piles for the first bridge abutment on the north side of the new structure.

We are proud to partner with GDOT in delivering durable, high quality transportation improvements that strengthen connectivity and safety for the community.

Please continue to use caution in the area and follow posted traffic control measures as work advances.

This high-impact transportation improvement includes construction of a new bridge structure and approaches along approximately 0.256 miles of Waters Road, with modernized design features including vehicle travel lanes, sidewalks, drainage and erosion control improvements. The GDOT-led project has an estimated value of roughly $4.3M and will enhance safety, capacity and long-term reliability of this key local connection.

Work is now underway with traffic control setup and erosion control measures in place as crews mobilize. We’re proud to be part of delivering meaningful infrastructure investments that support mobility and community growth.

F.S. Scarbrough, LLC is pleased to announce the start of construction on the Georgia DOT roundabout project at the intersection of US 441 and Highway 112 in Wilkinson County.

Our crews are now mobilized on site, implementing traffic control measures to safely maintain vehicle flow while work progresses. Initial activities include erosion and sediment control installation, site preparation, and early drainage improvements that will establish the foundation for the new roundabout.

This project represents an important safety and operational upgrade for the corridor, and our team is committed to delivering the work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
