Riptide Slipover

It’s officially the start of fall here in New York, so that means it’s transition time! Or as I like to call it - layering and delayering time ;)

The Riptide Slipover has been a favourite of yours for some time now. It’s available with both a crew and v-neck, with lots of other options including a split hem and waist shaping, for your desired style and fit.

It’s the perfect item for your wardrobe, especially this time of year when we need easy pull-on pull-off layers.

P.s. I’ve been working on its sister sweater and I’m hoping to have that ready for testing very soon. Last pic in carousel.

Scarf season is just around the corner and I know you are all eagerly awaiting Ripples and Rain 🫶

It’s coming - I promise will be released later this month. In the mean time, why not try the Riptide Scarfette?

It uses up that left over DK yarn so effectively. It’s completely size adjustable so make it up to what yarn you have available.

It’s fully charted and has row by row instructions, so if you like it fully visual or all written out, it’s got it.

Be sure to swipe through to see a few (there have been a lot!) of my knitted samples.

Lots going on in HQ at the moment!
And the best news is - I won the yarn chicken contest!

This is Rain - a little shawlette of pointelle raindrops with the framed edges in one of your favorite stitches - the Riptide stitch pattern.

This little beauty and its matching Ripples scarf (see post below 👇 ) is about to go into testing. But don’t worry - you won’t have to wait long - Ripples and Rain will be out later this month.

Huge thanks to everyone who applied to the test knit. I was quite flabbergasted at the flood in my inbox this week. 🩵

So something else happened on my needles! 🤭

I’m playing yarn chicken with the remaining half of my beach glass skein of 1ply Eco Fi*****ng from Megan Ingman

I’m hoping this works out - I’ve weighed and re-weighed and it should be enough, so fingers crossed 🤞

If it does work out this new design will feature both the scarf and this new little shawlette/ bandana.
Imagine a pretty little scarf AND a shawlette from a single 100g skein! 🤩💃 Exciting!

I’ll work on finishing this up and will let you know when it’s ready for testing!

Wish me luck! 🧶🐓🧶

Lots on my needles!

Ok so I’m normally a one or two project at-a-time person - what type of knitter that makes me - I never know?! 🤔
Right now I must have 5 design projects on the go, two being samples of the Ripplette Blouse (that will be dropping very soon!) that are almost complete and need buttons, and the others…. well here’s one!

I’m super exited to say that this little baby is getting the attention today. It’s growing up to become the Riptide Sweater and believe me, working out the compound raglan for this baby took a tad longer than I expected. But the fine tuning is so worth it and I’m loving it! And I know you will too! 🫶
