If/when we are selling shirts and Just Irises items to go towards Dylan’s first car and college, it will be a direct video from Dylan. Additionally, over the years we have experimented with different planting methods to see what proves to work the best for us. So far, this raised bed method in this video produces the best year round foliage for us. All the beds receive about equal sun.

Just Irises Episode 76: Tall Bearded (TB) Iris: “Lovely Livvy.” Arguably the most talked about Iris in 2025 worldwide and the most gorgeous pink/white amoena in creation to date! Thomas Johnson named this one after Olivia Newton-John and it is also a tribute to breast cancer awareness. The Iris featured has been in bloom for three days in heat and still a solid representation of the flower. Triple socket buds, vibrant pink, ruffles, just gorgeous! Farwest Iris Gardens!! WOW!!! Check out these mammoth rhizomes! Super clean and cut to perfection! Tony and Terry are a pleasure to work with and just opened their doors this year! They have been in touch with me regarding my Just Irises channel and I met Terry out in Oregon in Keith Keppel’s garden. They recently acquired Keith Keppel’s irises along with Paul Black’s varieties. Do not miss the opportunity to acquire some high quality rhizomes from their massive selection!

We took full advantage of the receding low tide to seek out an adventure on Timber Island in Maine. We stumbled upon an abandoned historic house. Guess what we found!!

We got Mid-America and Sutton’s rhizomes in the ground!!! Took us 5 hours to bang out late night and early this morning. Dad brought them out in groups we had in the house and I planted all of them with bone meal. Had the tape measurer set at 14” apart front to back and side to side. That’ll give us minimum 3 years before division.
