Because this kitchen in our 1850 Residence won’t see daily, heavy use, we were able to choose materials for beauty above durability. The backsplash is fluted Calacatta marble—its ridged surface catching light and shadow, creating rhythm across the wall.
It’s less about standing up to endless cooking, more about creating a tactile surface that animates the room with light.
