Because this kitchen in our 1850 Residence won’t see daily, heavy use, we were able to choose materials for beauty above durability. The backsplash is fluted Calacatta marble—its ridged surface catching light and shadow, creating rhythm across the wall.
It’s less about standing up to endless cooking, more about creating a tactile surface that animates the room with light.

Sometimes the most transformative details are also the quietest.

In our Fifth Avenue pied-à-terre, a pair of sliding pocket doors disappear into a custom oak-clad wall, shifting the experience of the home with a single gesture.

Closed, the door maintains privacy for the bedroom beyond. Open, it creates an effortless connection between living, dining, and rest — all framed by stone, oak, and views of Manhattan.
