Did yāall know Julia used to manage a local plant nursery before Working Hands NOLA existed?
Before that, she led an all-female landscape crew that maintained over 40 gardens throughout the Garden District, Uptown, the Bywater, and the French Quarter.
Long before the built-ins, renovations, and outdoor transformations, there were flower pots. Lots and lots of flower pots. š¤šø
Here are some favorite arrangements from the archives. Looking back through these photos reminds me how much joy there is in having something beautiful to look at every day. The smallest planting can completely transform a space. Suddenly, something ordinary becomes charming, refreshed, and just a little more magical.
