For more than 23 years, I've practiced law in Louisiana.
I've represented people in private practice. I've served as a Public Defender representing people facing felony and misdemeanor charges. I've handled juvenile and Drug Court matters. And early in my career, I had the opportunity to work for the Supreme Court of Louisiana.

Those experiences have given me something I believe is especially important for a judge:

Perspective.

I've seen the justice system from different sides. I've listened to different stories. I've worked with people from all walks of life.
And I've learned that good decisions begin with listening, understanding the facts and applying the law fairly.

That experience and perspective are what I hope to bring to the New Iberia City Court bench.
