Iberia Habitat for Humanity

Iberia Habitat for Humanity Every One deserves a decent place to live. Iberia Habitat for Humanity (IHFH), one of more than 1,700 U.S. affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing decent, affordable housing to working families.

People partner with Iberia Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To date, Iberia Habitat has built and renovated countless homes in Iberia and St. Mary Parish. For more information, please visit www.iberia-habitat.org or call 337-367-3038.

Mission: Building strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter. We work in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities by building and renovating houses and creating communities in which every person can experience God’s love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

Iberia Habitat for Humanity is in need for a licensed and insured PLUMBER that would like to partner with us on our current project (that includes an addition) and possibly future new builds.
In addition to being paid for the services, the qualifying company will also be advertised as a partner with our organization. (free publicity!) We are also very loyal when it comes to forming a partnership that is a win-win situation for everyone!

From the National Weather Service:

We continue to monitor for strong to severe storms later today and tonight. Damaging winds will be the main threat but large hail and isolated tornadoes will be threats as well. Widespread flooding is not anticipated, but bursts of heavy rain could lead to brief localized street flooding.
