A look inside the Mud Daubers nest
I often explain how Mud Daubers are a solitary insect. Unlike paper wasps, yellow jackets and red wasps the Daubers only build the mud tunnels to lay an egg, provide food for the larvae and start building the next tunnel.
This shows the larvae feeding on paralyzed spiders. The mother wasp paralyzes the spiders and pack them inside the tunnel so the young have food on the way out
