If you've ever wondered what custom home selections look like... this is it.

There are a lot of decisions on this table, but that's part of the fun. Tile, flooring, cabinets, paint, countertops, hardware—seeing everything laid out together is when a home's personality really starts to take shape.

We love helping our homeowners narrow down the possibilities until every choice feels like them. It's a busy table today, but it's one step closer to another beautiful custom home.

Reviews like this remind us why we love what we do.

Ben trusted Mitchell Custom Homes to build his Canyon Lake home after thoroughly researching builders and speaking with homeowners, lenders, and industry professionals. Hearing that the finished home exceeded his expectations—and that the entire experience was just as rewarding—means more to us than words can say.

Thank you, Ben, for your trust, your kind words, and for allowing us to be part of such an important milestone. It was an honor to build your home, and we wish you many years of wonderful memories there.

Thank you for being part of the Mitchell Custom Homes family.

The cozy sitting area adds another layer of comfort, offering the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, catch up on a good book, or simply take in the view.

Every detail in this dining room was designed to make gathering feel special. The warm brick, exposed wood beams, statement lighting, and expansive Hill Country views create a setting that's equally suited for holiday dinners, everyday meals, and celebrations with family and friends.

It's a reminder that the dining room isn't just where you eat. It's where stories are shared, milestones are celebrated, and memories are made.

At Mitchell Custom Homes, every space is designed to feel as inviting as it is beautiful.

A kitchen like this doesn't happen by accident.

Every decision, from the oversized island and custom cabinetry to the handcrafted vent hood, exposed wood beams, and painted brick, was made with the homeowners in mind. The result is a space that's as inviting for everyday living as it is for gathering family and friends.

Custom homes are about more than beautiful finishes. They're about creating spaces that fit the way you live.

Every custom home starts with a vision, and great design partners help bring that vision into focus.

We're proud to work with Julie Edwards of J Edwards Home Designs, whose creativity and thoughtful approach help turn ideas into beautiful, functional spaces. Julie has a wonderful eye for balancing style, comfort, and the way a family truly lives, making every design feel personal rather than one-size-fits-all.

Building a custom home is a collaborative process, and we're grateful to have talented professionals like Julie as part of our team. Together, we help our clients create homes that are every bit as beautiful as they are livable.

Thank you, Julie, for sharing your talent and creativity with so many Mitchell Custom Homes families.

BEFORE ➡️ AFTER

It's amazing what a little staging can do.

The room itself never changed. The cabinetry, flooring, and layout were already thoughtfully designed. By adding appliances, artwork, greenery, baskets, and a few everyday touches, the space instantly feels warm, welcoming, and ready to use.

When we design a custom home, we're always thinking beyond the walls. We imagine how each space will be lived in, used, and enjoyed. Sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration to help bring that vision to life.

The details catch your attention, but it's the way this room feels that keeps you here.

Rich wood beams, a handcrafted brick archway, and walls of glass give this living space its character, while the open layout keeps everyone connected. The fireplace anchors the room, the kitchen is always part of the conversation, and the Hill Country views become part of the backdrop.

This is a home designed for everyday living, whether it's a quiet morning with coffee or a house full of family and friends.

We'll be sharing more from this beautiful custom home in the weeks ahead.
