🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July, everyone! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, but here's a story that has always stood out to me.

During the brutal winter of 1777–1778 at , thousands of American soldiers had no boots. Many wrapped their feet in rags just to march through the snow, leaving trails of blood behind them. They were cold, hungry, sick, and had every reason to give up—but they didn't.

They endured that winter because they believed the generations after them deserved to live free, even if they never got to enjoy all the benefits of that sacrifice themselves.

As we gather with family, friends, and fireworks today, let's remember that the freedoms we enjoy were purchased through the courage and sacrifice of ordinary men who chose not to quit.

May we never take that freedom for granted.
