Another screen clog!

This customer after moving in, noticed their new dryer wasn’t working. After inspection, a screen was found within the roof exhaust hood for the dryer vent. Screens are never recommended, especially on roofs. Screens will inevitably trap lint causing poor airflow and long drying times.

After removing the screen and cleaning the entire vent, the dryer worked again!

17 gallons of water found in a dryer vent! 😱

This customer had an error code signaling that they had a clog somewhere in the vent. Upon inspection, water was found in the duct. This happens when a dryer vent is built into the foundation using PVC. Water will eventually accumulate if not maintained properly. This vent had 17 gallons of water in it, not including lint! Thankfully, a professional cleaning is all that was needed to get this customer back to drying efficiently again.
