Weaned lambs settling nicely to their waist high crabgrass pasture after these stretch of rains we’ve gotten. Chowing down on their grain workin towards their slaughter date for some folks and a couple ewe lambs growing out to turn back in with the breeding herd here soon

Not too shabby of a week to wean some 3 month olds and get the ram lambs fed out for direct to consumer meat this fall!

This drought sure is whoopin us this year but when you walk out in the pasture and see a 2 month old STUD like this dang it eases the stress of looking out and seeing brown crunchy grass and the site of hay still being fed in June

Shout out to Bentley Martin for supplying us with a fresh ram to bring some new genetics to the herd! Y’all check his page he has an upcoming online sale on some fine animals! This makes ram #2 we’ve gotten from him and saying we are pleased is a understatement!

Little bit of feeding action featuring Mule City Feed’s finest custom mix followed up with some follow the leader after grazing some fresh pasture and headed back to the barn. Thankful for the rain we got over this last week. We were a little behind but got some great Mixon Seed Service hybrid pearl millet out today on some pastures too

Lewis Brothers Land Management, LLC is considering expanding our services to offer farm-to-table slaughter lambs for the next season! We want to gauge interest in our premium 100lb ram lambs, raised with care right here on our land.

Each 100lb live-weight lamb will yield approximately 35 to 40 lbs of high-quality, vacuum-sealed meat for your freezer—the perfect amount for a family to enjoy over several months.

Pricing for 2027:$400 per lamb plus applicable slaughter and processing fees

This would be a "whole lamb" purchase, providing you with a full variety of cuts including loin chops, leg of lamb, shanks, ground lamb, and select organs if desired.

Because we prioritize quality over quantity, we would only be offering a limited number of animals. Would you be interested in reserving a lamb for your family next year?
