CALLING ALL PLANT LOVERS + LOCAL CREATIVES! 🌿

I'm looking to grow something really special inside The Kokedama Shop!

My storefront is located at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell, and I want to create a unique plant-inspired marketplace filled with local makers, artists, and small businesses whose products fit the plant-lover lifestyle.

I will have a contract written up, you're welcome to view it. I will be charging a monthly price with a small % take on sales to run ads/ support signage, shelves, etc. Kokedama Shop will provide reasonable promotional support for participating Vendors such as; vendor signage, social media promotion, store displays, vendor features, promotional posts, ect.

I’m looking for vendors who create or sell things like:
- Houseplants & unique plants
- Plant accessories
- Plant-themed earrings & jewelry
- Botanical soaps & self-care products
- Plant-inspired candles & scents
- Plant art & prints
- Plant signs & home décor
- Plant stakes & markers
- Plant-themed accessories
- Nature & botanical-inspired products
- Handmade goods
…and honestly, anything that you think would fit a plant-loving community!

My goal is to create a storefront where you can walk in and find plants, handmade goods, gifts, art, accessories, and everything in between — all centered around plants and nature.

If you’re a local maker, artist, plant grower, or small business owner and think your products would be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!

If you’re interested, send me a message with your business/product information and a few photos of what you make! You can also tag someone below who you think would be a perfect fit.

Let’s fill this little shop with some amazing local talent!

Please share this post! You never know who in our community has something incredible to offer.

*Also, please allow me a couple days to get back to you. I will be waiting to collect a bunch of information. I'm hoping to open by the beginning of Oct or mid Oct.

The plant mural is coming along great!
I free handed the design. Now I just need to finish the rest of the top.
I really love connecting and talking to all of you who have stopped me, taken pictures or even expressed how much you love my art. It feels unreal that I'm actually doing this.

I'm forever grateful.

BIG NEWS!

I finally get to share something I’ve been so excited about…

The Kokedama Shop is getting a storefront!

I officially signed the lease and I still can’t believe I get to say that! This has been such a big dream of mine, and I’m so excited to take this next step with my little business.

📍 Oakes Brothers Marketplace

I’ll be spending the next little while turning this space into a place that feels like The Kokedama Shop—full of plants, creativity, workshops, handmade goods, and lots of greenery.

An estimated opening date will be announced soon!

I cannot WAIT to show you the space, share the progress, and eventually open the doors and welcome you all in.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my business, bought a plant, stopped by my booth, shared a post, joined me for plant bingo, or simply cheered me on. You have all played a part in getting me here. 💚

This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

It felt so good to be back. 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, supported my small business, and shared so many wonderful conversations with me. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

It's because of all of you that I get to keep doing what I'm passionate about, and I truly can't thank you enough for that.

I'm so grateful for every single one of you, and I can't wait to see you at the next market!

Ps. Thank you to a beautiful customer who gifted me this Polaroid photo. Not many people know this, but I collect old vintage cameras. Polaroids are one of my favourite ways to capture life. This picture now sits on my volkswagen dashboard. Thank you 🩷

Hi, friends! 🌿

I wanted to apologize for being absent from the markets lately. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who's very sensitive to wildfire smoke, and spending too much time outdoors in it triggers severe migraines. As much as I love seeing everyone each week, I have to put my health first until the air quality improves.

I truly miss all of you, the conversations, and sharing plants with this amazing community. I'm hoping the smoke clears soon so I can get back to doing what I love!

In the meantime, don't forget to take care of your plant babies too! While a little smoke isn't usually harmful, prolonged exposure can affect them:

🌱 Smoke particles can settle on leaves, making it harder for plants to absorb sunlight.

💧 Ash can clog leaf pores and reduce photosynthesis.

🪴 Outdoor plants may benefit from a gentle rinse once the smoke clears to remove residue.

☀️ If possible, avoid moving indoor plants outside while the air quality is poor.

💦 Keep up with normal watering, but don't over water. Smoky conditions can still be dehydrating for some plants.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I can't wait to be back at the markets as soon as it's safe to do so. Until then, stay safe, take care of yourselves, and give your plants a little extra love from me! 💚

To my wonderful customers,

I wanted to let you know that I'll be taking a short break from The Kokedama Shop over the next week or two. Life has brought some unexpected personal challenges, and I need to take a little time to focus on myself and my family.

I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. This community means so much to me, and I look forward to returning soon with fresh plants, new creations, and renewed energy.

Thank you for being here. I'll update you as soon as I'm back.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

That was fun 🫠
On the other hand, if you need a great towing company, I highly suggest Apex. They were hands down, one of the best towing companies I've experienced (not with pink petal).

On a side note, Pink Petal decided it was them to lose an axel. Hoping to have her up and running by Monday. So she will not be at any markets this weekend.
