🌞 Texas summers can make even a healthy lawn look a little scary.

If you've noticed your yard turning brown, don't panic just yet. Brown doesn't automatically mean your lawn is dying.

In many cases, your grass is simply going dormant. Dormancy is your lawn's natural survival response to extreme heat and drought. It slows its growth, conserves energy, and waits for cooler temperatures and rainfall before greening back up.
A lawn that's dead, on the other hand, won't recover on its own.
While your grass is in survival mode, w**ds don't always get the memo.
Many summer w**ds continue growing and competing for valuable water, nutrients, and space. If left untreated, they can spread quickly, produce thousands of seeds, and make it even harder for your lawn to bounce back when fall arrives.
That's why our W**d & Feed Program doesn't take the summer off—and neither do we.

🌱 We adjust our treatments based on the season and the Texas heat, using products and application timing that are appropriate for what your lawn needs right now. Summer isn't the time for aggressive fertilization, but it is the time to stay ahead of w**ds and watch for turf-damaging pests that become active during the hottest months.

By staying proactive, we help:

✔️ Keep w**ds from taking over while your lawn is dormant.
✔️ Protect your turf from seasonal insects that can cause significant damage.
✔️ Set your lawn up for a healthier recovery when cooler weather returns.

A beautiful lawn isn't built with one treatment—it's built through consistent care all year long.

If you'd like a lawn that's ready to thrive when the Texas heat finally lets up, we'd love to help.

Send us a message or give us a call to learn more about our W**d & Feed Program.
Serving Abilene, TX and the surrounding areas. Will service as far as Colorado City, Hawley, Baird, Lawn & Ovalo, TX.

Here's something y'all probably didn't know. Our tech plays bass in a couple of bands. Last night we were able to attend his show. He did an awesome job, and very talented playing on that stage. Justin is an amazing guy.

🚨Sticker burs are popping up everywhere right now, and they’re not the only w**ds taking advantage of the recent heavy rains.

If walking barefoot through your yard has suddenly become an extreme sport, we can help. 😬

Our W**d & Feed Program focuses on keeping unwanted w**ds under control throughout the season, and right now, that means targeting the w**ds that are actively showing up in your lawn — including those lovely little ankle assassins we call sticker burs.

Sticker burs may be the unwanted summer guest, but you don’t have to let them get comfortable.

**Treatment recommendations and results may vary based on w**d species, growth stage, turf condition, and environmental conditions.**
