Tri-County Electric Cooperative is pleased to announce that Danny Hopfinger has been selected as our next General Manager!

Danny has served Tri-County and our members faithfully throughout his years with the Cooperative. His experience, leadership, and deep roots in southern Illinois will help guide TCEC as we continue providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity while preparing for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

“I am honored and humbled to be selected as the next General Manager for Tri-County,” Danny said. “I look forward to working with our employees and the Board to continue providing high-quality service to our members.”

Danny will officially begin his new role on August 10, 2026. Please join us in congratulating him!
