🌿 PLANTING SEASON REMINDER FROM K**B CREEK LANDSCAPING 🌿

As we move into the warmer months, it’s important to understand how much weather impacts the success of new plantings.

From approximately the second week of June through the third week of September (weather depending on temperatures), planting becomes significantly more challenging here in New Jersey.

Why?
* Extreme heat puts stress on new plants before they can properly establish roots
* Soil dries out faster, increasing watering demands
* Higher risk of transplant shock and plant decline
* Reduced root development during prolonged hot spells

While planting can still be done during this period, it often requires much more maintenance and carries higher risk compared to spring and fall. We highly recommend holding off on planting to ensure your most cost effective and thrive effective of the plantings.

For the healthiest, longest-lasting results, we always recommend planning your plantings during cooler, more stable weather conditions when possible.

Another landscape transformation completed in Westampton, NJ! 🌿

This property had landscape beds that were heavily overrun with w**ds and needed some serious attention. Our crew spent the day extensively removing the existing w**d growth, thoroughly cleaning out the beds, and preparing them for long-term success.

To help prevent future w**d issues, we applied w**d prevention treatment, installed landscape fabric, applied additional w**d control, and finished everything off with a fresh layer of mulch for a clean, polished look.

The difference is night and day! 💪

Another transformation completed in Mount Laurel, NJ!

Our team recently installed 12 yards of fresh black mulch and removed 9 overgrown hedges to give this property a cleaner, more updated look. Beds were all redefined with sharp edging. This is just the beginning of the project, with new plantings coming in the near future to bring even more color and curb appeal to the landscape.

Part 1 of this project located in Cherry Hill, NJ is officially complete with a fresh sod installation already bringing this property back to life. 3-4” of soil removed, fresh organic screened topsoil installed, and sod over top.

Part 2 will include:
- New plantings
- Bed installations
- Fresh mulch
- And more finishing touches to completely transform the property

This is a post we never hoped we’d have to make.

Due to the unexpected passing of a close family member, K**b Creek Landscaping may need to rearrange or cancel some mowings this week. Right now, our focus is on being with our family, supporting one another, and taking the time to grieve a loss that has hit us deeply.

We know how much our customers rely on us, and we don’t take that lightly. Your patience, understanding, and prayers during this time truly mean more than we can put into words.

We will be doing our best to communicate with anyone affected and get things back on track as soon as we’re able. Thank you for standing by us—not just as customers, but as a community.

Another fresh mulch transformation in the books 🌿🔥

We just wrapped up this property with a full mulch refresh, redefining beds and giving everything a clean, sharp finish that really brings the landscape back to life.

The difference fresh mulch makes is unreal — clean edges, crisp contrast, and a whole new curb appeal boost for the home.
