What a difference some custom built-ins can make!

When we arrived, the TV was sitting on the floor, the walls were empty, and there wasn’t even a mantel.

We added custom cabinetry, bookcases, accent lighting, a new mantel, and mounted the TV. We also tied everything into the existing crown molding and trim to make it feel like it had always been part of the home.

Now the room has a natural focal point, plenty of storage, and lots of space to display photos and decor. And of course, the TV finally has a home off the floor!

Sometimes home improvement isn’t about looks or vibes—it’s about making a home work better for the people who live there.

For this project, we made a few important modifications to make the bathroom safer and more accessible for someone with physical limitations.

We opened up the main bathroom doorway and installed a 36” pocket door, widened the toilet room entrance from 30” to 36”, and installed self-closing double-swing doors for easier access. We also added grab bars for extra safety and support.

They may seem like small changes, but sometimes a few thoughtful adjustments can make a huge difference in someone’s independence, comfort, and quality of life.

That’s home improvement that really matters.

Some installs require a little more precision than others. 📺

For this project, we installed a MantelMount on a large, uneven stone fireplace, with the TV positioned high above the floor. Drilling and securing the mount through the stone presented a unique challenge, but careful planning and ex*****on made all the difference.

The beauty of the MantelMount is that you can easily lower the TV to a comfortable viewing angle when you’re ready to watch, then lift it back into place when it’s not needed.

We also added an integrated sound bar that moves with the mount, keeping the audio perfectly aligned with the TV whether it’s raised or lowered.

The finished installation transformed the space—freeing up valuable floor space for shelving and decor while turning an otherwise unused wall into a functional focal point.

We started with an empty pantry and turned it into a beautiful, functional space!

Closed cabinetry provides plenty of storage for pantry goods, while open maple floating shelves stained in Special Walnut keeps everyday items within easy reach. We carried that same Special Walnut finish onto the maple countertop, creating a warm workspace that’s perfect for the crockpot, small appliances, or even a little food prep.

We love transforming overlooked spaces into something that’s both functional and beautiful.

From a blank wall to beautiful, functional storage.

This custom built-in was designed to give the space plenty of storage without sacrificing style. Lots of functional drawers keep everything tucked away, while the open wood shelving creates the perfect space for displaying decor.

We finished the maple shelving in Special Walnut stain and paired it with brass hardware for a warm, classic look.

This one was a BIG transformation. 🔨

This custom built-in stands 10 feet tall and 15 feet wide and completely changed the look of this room.

We incorporated Shaker cabinetry, brass hardware, crown molding, and open shelving with custom arches designed to match the home’s large arched window. We also closed in the old TV hole in the wall and gave the entire space a much more intentional, finished look.

The wood countertops were stained in Minwax Provincial, and we finished the build with a custom 8-foot mantle to anchor the entire wall.

Another custom mudroom complete!

We built this space with slim shaker cabinetry in a warm ivory white, giving it a clean, timeless look while adding plenty of functional storage.

✔️ Drawers for the everyday essentials
✔️ Closed storage to keep clutter out of sight
✔️ Soft-close doors and drawers throughout
✔️ Custom maple bench top finished with a gray wash stain

We love how the gray-washed maple adds just enough warmth and contrast against the ivory cabinetry. A beautiful space designed to work hard and still look great.

We added a walnut beam to help define the space and tie all the wood tones together, then brought in a warm two-tone cabinet design with natural wood tones and sage green.

A few of our favorite details:
• Huge 4’ x 7’ island with tons of storage and seating
• New quartz countertops throughout
• Fun backsplash with a feature window that really makes the space pop
• New 60/40 low-rise composite sink
• Built-in microwave for a clean, seamless look
• Walnut accents that bring the whole design together

We love how this one balances warmth, color, and function while still feeling bright and inviting.
