Another driveway transformation completed! 🚜

This project involved much more than simply adding gravel. We started by reshaping and regrading the existing driveway, widening sections, improving drainage, and re-establishing a roadside ditch to help prevent future washouts.

We also installed two underground gutter drain crossings using 3” Schedule 40 PVC to redirect roof runoff beneath the driveway instead of allowing water to flow across the driving surface and cause erosion.

Once the drainage improvements were complete, we delivered and installed approximately 110 tons of #53 limestone throughout the driveway, parking areas, and turnaround areas. The driveway was then compacted with a vibratory roller to create a smooth, durable surface built to last.

This project began after a previous excavation attempt resulted in damage to existing utilities. We were brought in to locate and repair a damaged water line, install a new water line and electrical line, excavate approximately 270 feet of trench, and excavate additional holes for electrical splice boxes.

Excavation work often involves more than just moving dirt. Existing utilities, proper depths, drainage, and safety all play a major role in a successful project. Taking the time to do the job correctly helps prevent costly repairs and delays down the road.

Another drainage project wrapped up by Waymaker Excavation.

This project included installing a full perimeter drainage system around the foundation, installing a sump basin and 1/2 HP sump pump, running a new discharge line, and bringing in roughly 80 tons of gravel to improve drainage and build up low areas around the property. We also completed additional excavation work for future concrete preparation and removed a tree stump while onsite.

This one definitely kept us moving between the rain, mud, and material handling, but the end result turned out great and should make a huge difference with water management around the home.

This driveway was dealing with constant washouts every time it rained, water pooling up and cutting straight across, taking gravel with it.

We installed a pipe across the drive to carry the water underneath instead of letting it run over the top, then finished everything back in to restore proper drainage and stability.

Drainage issues don’t fix themselves, but the right solution can protect your investment and keep things from getting worse. 💧🚜

🚧Window Well Install Complete!🚧

This project came together great! We installed a brand new window well to help protect this basement window and keep critters out!

This one took some extra care because we had to work around existing utility lines to make sure everything was installed safely and correctly but we got it done and left it looking clean and finished. 👏
