We pulled into Lancaster today to start disassembling the gutters and acid washing the last planned pool of 2026, in preparation for hopefully painting next week. This is a newer pool that was built in 2019. We did their old pool in 2016, the new pool plan was in the works just waiting for budgeting. It’s always wonderful being asked to come back once again. We don’t see many new pools, but our process is the same whether it’s brand new or 50 years old. We were also asked by a neighboring community to stop by and visit their pool for finishing next spring.

With many thanks to Zach the head of Public Works with the City Of Edgerton, and Bill Betzig with Cedar Corp. Engineering out of Madison. We have completed the Edgerton pool. It’s always tricky the first time around dealing with the many different elements. This team always comes through. Thank you again to the City Of Edgerton for having us, it was truly a pleasure.

This is what we mean, when we say we have a man on the hook. This pool had a transition to the diving well that was too steep and dangerous to walk. It’s kind of funny when people ask what type of painting we do. We tell them everything from your bathroom to Harley Davidson, Chevrolet, and Chrysler dealerships. Our pool division is growing every year, thanks to these talented guys. It began over 40 years ago with Paul Klinzing asking us to do Monroe’s for the first time. It takes one heck of a team.

A little bit of picture overload, this is a project north of Monroe off of County trunk N that we completed in August. It is yet another log home that we had finished many years ago. We applied a solid finish to match an existing metal building that will last them many years to come. We spent an extensive amount of time on redoing the caulking where needed on the house.

Thank you once again to Solutions Bank in Northern Illinois for allowing us to be apart of yet another one of your locations interior and exterior renovation. We replaced damaged, missing mortar, and sealed the outside brick with a finish that will last them for many years to come. we also repainted all the aluminum soffits and aluminum window trim to match the new gutters.

Next pool up is the City Of Edgerton. This is a unique pool system, there is an upper pool, which has a diving well and lap swim area, and then a lower pool, which has a zero depth entry. This is the first time they’ve ever had them professionally painted. A substantial amount of time has been taken to prep, repair and remark the pool. There is a lot of measuring and fine detail that goes into marking a pool. Stay tuned for the finish pictures in the next week or so.

Thank you to the City Of Middleton and the Park and Recreation Staff for having us back once again to repaint the Middleton pool. The weather gave us a little bit of a challenge, but we overcame. It was great completing another project with you this year.
