I know, there’s always a story, and this one is no different. This is a log home in Albany that we have finished three or four times. We typically apply a preservative which is a type of semi transparent finish, that never peels. You just have to reapply the oils approximately every 3 to 5 years as they dry out. We have many clients that we use the system with, that are ready for something that gives them a little longer lifespan. We developed a program using a specific solid color stain that we know will adhere to many different types of semi transparent products, including Sikkens and many like products. This should double, if not triple their lifespan. The other interesting fact about this particular house, is that we have a standing history with this family. My father and this gentleman have served together in the army along with his brother. I am also blessed to serve as the President of the Board of Directors of a company that his father created along with a few other gentlemen decades ago. And to this day, Cenex, Southern Wisconsin Coop is a thriving petroleum based business here in Southern Wisconsin. I am blessed to have served as the Vice President for well over 15 years and became President in 2025. Thank you Bump Family! And, as always, great work guys.
