Most tank water heaters have an anode rod and few people seem to know about them. This rod is sacrificial to save your tank, meaning corrosive elements in your water attack the rod before your tank. If the rod is depleted, the elements will start attacking your tank eventually causing it to fail.

PSA: To extend the life of your tank, you can replace your anode rod every couple years or so (depending on your water quality) or install one Corro-Protec powered anode rod which uses an electrical current to nullify corrosive elements.

Is your tankless water heater not producing? It might need to be serviced. This Rinnai unit in Redmond was getting an error code and not producing hot water. We conducted a standard service to descale the heat exchanger and clean the vents, filters and condensate trap which resolved the error code and got their hot water flowing again.

We converted this customer's domestic hot water system from a direct vent gas water heater to a Bradford White AeroTherm G2 50 gallon electric heat pump water heater. As a Seattle City Light customer, they also benefited from a $750 instant rebate.

Kudos to Phase 3 Electric for installing the electrical circuit to power the new water heater.

This customer in Clyde Hill needed to replace a 65-gallon electric water heater along with installing a new faucet and rebuilding a shower valve with a new cartridge. Since 65-gallon tanks have been discontinued, ProMax installed a 50-gallon Bradford White electric water heater with a Cash Acme Tank Booster Pro thermostatic mixing valve to increase capacity.
