Before: The original distribution box was severely compromised, featuring deteriorated materials, air leakage, and restricted velocity to the furthest terminal runs. The resulting condensation and unsealed joints created microclimates conducive to organic growth and significantly degraded indoor air quality.
After: Rebuilt and fully sealed the primary plenum using modern, insulated duct board to optimize static pressure and air distribution. The modernized assembly eliminates thermal bridging, restores proper airflow to remote rooms, and mitigates future moisture accumulation to maintain a clean, high-efficiency system.
