We’re excited to share a small change with a big impact. The reason for the URL change is simple: growth. We’ve grown in size, expanded our services, and broadened our geographic reach. While surveying will always be at the core of what we do, OSS now also offers additional services. We are bigger and more diverse, and we believe our brand should reflect that.

What’s new:
• Our website is now shorter (but the old URL still works)
• Our emails will soon come from the new shorter URL

Recently the people of OSS, partners, consultants and friends, came together for an evening of lively conversation, music, food and drink. Our leadership team had a chance to highlight the many achievements of 2025 and look ahead to exciting things coming in 2026.

When 4th-grader Luke Gutierrez asked, “Why can’t we just scan it?” we teamed up to bring that idea to life with a full 3D laser scan of historic Mission Soledad. The result? A project that blends innovation, mentorship, and a whole lot of curiosity to capture history in high-tech detail and inspire the next generation of surveyors along the way.
