HURRICANE PREP TIPS!!

Here’s what you should do before the storm:

💧 Know your water shutoff
Make sure you know where it is and that you can turn it off. This can help prevent a broken pipe from flooding the house.

💧Protect your Water Heater.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for putting the unit in the appropriate off/pilot state. Don’t leave a heater actively heating if the water supply has been shut off.

💧Fill the bathtub
Keep water on hand for flushing toilets and other non-drinking uses.

🚫 Flooded water heater?
Flooding can damage internal components; it should be professionally evaluated before being turned back on.

A little preparation now can save you a BIG plumbing headache later. Praying y’all stay safe!
