Big Sky Lawn and Land is hiring motivated individuals to join our growing landscaping and hardscaping team.

We specialize in high-quality outdoor projects including paver patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, sod installation, lighting, and full landscape installs.

What We’re Looking For:

-Hardworking and reliable
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
-Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Shows up on time and ready to work
-Team player

Experience is a plus, but not required- we'll train the right person.
Positions available for beginners and team lead/foreman

What You’ll Be Doing:

-Assist with installing pavers, rock, and retaining walls
-General landscaping (grading, planting, sod, cleanup)
-Use of basic hand tools and equipment
-Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently

Pay:
Competitive, based on attitude and work ethic (with room to grow)

Schedule:
Full-time, seasonal with potential for long-term work

From storm damage to a clean, finished yard 🌿 After regrading with topsoil and seed, we added a simple rock bed with a few shrubs to give this space a neat, low-maintenance look. If your yard needs help after weather or wear, we’re happy to take a look.

Meet the Team Behind Big Sky Lawn and Land, Inc
Hey Missoula! I’m Chris Wisherd, and this is my amazing wife, Kendra, and our three wonderful kiddos. Together — with an awesome, hardworking crew — we own and operate Big Sky Lawn and Land, Inc, right here in my hometown of Missoula, MT!
You’ve probably seen us around: in our trucks, or on job sites. But I wanted to take a moment to personally introduce ourselves.
I was born and raised here, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a serious work ethic. From fixing up cars to building with wood, I’ve always loved figuring out how things work (any other How It’s Made fans out there?).
I attended the University of Montana where I was a member of the Cheer Team for 4 years, studied Business Finance, and graduated in 2013.
I started landscaping in my early teens and through school and other careers it always found a way back to me.
My wife and I decided to take a leap of faith and started a family and a business at the same time in 2019 and never looked back!
Today, Big Sky Lawn and Land, Inc is a skilled local team taking on tough jobs with creativity, integrity, and hometown pride. Although we no longer mow lawns, we have proudly expanded our services to:
