Flower Friends just a little note to let you know The Powell Street Flower Stand will be closed next week (8/10-8/14) due to construction on Rattlesnake Drive. As you can see, I have plenty of blooms ready for their new homes. Don’t worry you can still buy fresh flowers inside Rattlesnake Market all week long starting Monday morning. If you don’t want to deal with the construction but still want flowers send me a DM and I’ll put together something special for you. See you soon.

Flower Friends we are almost all the way through July! To celebrate the last day of the month and the overflow of my dahlia fields I’m offering Free Flower Friday!

July in the garden is exhausting. The heat, the bugs, the smoke in the air. Every time I start feeling overwhelmed I just open my camera roll and do a little scrolling. While I am sweaty and dirty and exhausted, it reminds me of what I get to surround myself with every day and how lucky I am to share this journey with you. These are just a few snapshots of the garden this week and it’s only Wednesday. Thank you.

Even the flowers are trying to escape the heat and smoke. Now available for purchase inside The Patio @ Rattlesnake Market go grab a coffee and some flowers to brighten your day.

For those of you who like a drive up and go option, the Powell Street Flower Stand is still open until it gets too hot. Don’t worry we evicted the bees who tried to take up residence there last week. Have a beautiful day.

Morning views from the late July Garden. I’m just over here making peace with the things I can control. The heat has been relentless this summer and the garden is blooming all out of sync. I’m choosing to give my energy to the plants that are trying to survive and ignoring the ones that could be trying harder. It’s not all pretty but there is beauty if you look in the right places.
