As the snow melts and temperatures start warming up in the Adirondacks, now is the perfect time to take a look at your driveway.

Winter freeze-thaw cycles can be tough on asphalt, and damage often becomes visible once everything thaws out.

Here are a few signs it may be time for a new driveway:

CJ Sherman has always been more than just a paving business — it’s a family legacy. For generations, this trade has been passed down from father to son, built on hard work, long days, and pride in doing the job right.

You could say this business is in our DNA.

We’re proud to carry on what was started years ago and to keep the tradition going for the next generation. And today we take a moment to honor the people who poured their heart and soul into building this company — especially those who helped build it but aren’t here with us anymore.

Their work is still under the tires of every truck and in every driveway we pave.
