Tina and Jeff are mom and pop landlords with a few rental properties in Milwaukee. They reached out after their previous tenant moved out to upgrade their old wood floors in a historic home. The oil-base finish had faded after many years to a dark orange-brown and looked dated.

After sanding the floor down, we suggested a water-base finish for a fresher look that wouldn’t fade to dark in a few years. The finished product lightens the look of the space and is complete for the home’s new tenants!

Eric and his wife were fixing up their home to sell in Milwaukee and reached out for some help with their drywall and other small touch ups. As we talked, it was clear they were looking for a special update to really attract buyers to the house: a new fireplace.

We upgraded the outdateded fireplace with a variety of new gray stone and a white granite base to really elevate the look of the space.

You maybe be asking yourself, “Why the name Morrocoy?” This is actually the name of a turtoise found in Venezuela! This beautiful animal is known as the Red-Footed Tortoise in English, and enjoys warm, tropical climates.

The Morrocoy can be found across all South American countries and is considered a vulnerable species. This animal holds a special place in our hearts—and so we found it fitting for our name!
