Been very busy lately and very excited for another project finished. Well…..not finished…. there’s so much more to come!!!!!
HAVE YOU BEEN DRIVING DOWN COLLEGE AVE, LOOKED OVER THE BRIDGE BY GLASS NICKEL PIZZA, AND WONDERED WHAT THE HELL THAT ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE COMPOUND IS?
Yeah. Us too.
It’s Ope North, and what they’re building is absolutely badass.
If you aren't following their page, I will fill you in: they have over 2.5 acres with volleyball, pickleball, co****le, multiple tasting rooms, a giant outdoor venue, an indoor wedding and event space, live music, and a whole lot more.
So why am I rambling about someone else’s brewery?
Welllllllll...
While we were in the middle of building out the Smoke Yard, we happened to cross paths with the Ope crew. We quickly realized they were basically building a WAYYYYY cooler version of what we were trying to do 😂
So we came up with a plan.
HIGH KALIBER BBQ IS MOVING IN AT OPE!
We’ve partnered with these incredible folks to bring the truck and smoker and become primary food operation at the new brewery, serving most of their open days right out of the gate, to eventually be there every day they’re open.
And we’re not just dragging our normal food truck menu over there.
We’ve been building a brand-new menu specifically for Ope with BBQ-inspired, brewery-friendly food made for grabbing a b**r, hanging out and sharing with the table.
Smoked wings.
Brisket burgers.
Loaded fries.
Sandwiches.
Shareables.
Plus staples like our chopped brisket and pulled pork that you already know and love.
We’re bringing the black truck with a full kitchen and also bringing the new smoker over, which means we’ll be able to screw around with specials whenever we feel like it. Ribs, chicken quarters, smoked meatloaf, and whatever else we decide sounds good that week.
Basically, if you’re looking for BBQ(ish) food, great b**r, OR some other random s**t we decide to do that day, this is going to be your new home for it.
Their goal is to be open VERY SOON, if you haven’t seen this place yet, you seriously need to check it out. Every time I stop over there, I find something else that blows my mind.
We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership, and I have a feeling we’re going to have a whole lot of fun hanging out with these guys on the daily.
