Another one coming down.

This project started with over 500 square feet of aging, deteriorated deck, and once the decking came off, it became pretty clear that it was time for it to go.

Rotten lumber, questionable framing, years of moisture exposure, and construction details that simply weren’t built for the long haul. Sometimes a deck reaches the point where repairing it just means spending good money trying to save bad material.

So this one is getting a fresh start.

We’re removing the old structure and making way for a properly built outdoor space that will be safer, stronger, and built to last.

These are the projects we enjoy—the transformation is going to be a big one.

2020 ➡️ 2026

Back in 2020, Caleb was out there pushing a mower around, picking up a few yards and learning what it meant to earn a dollar one lawn at a time.

Fast forward a few years… the mower got a little bigger. 😂

What started with a push mower and some determination has grown into Caleb helping build Grassquatch Lawn Maintenance and taking on more responsibility every season.

There’s been a lot learned between these two pictures — mowing, trimming, equipment, customers, long hot days, breakdowns, and probably a few lawns he never wants to see again.

Pretty cool to look back and see where it started.

Same kid. Bigger mower. Much bigger goals.

Another Curb Appeal Makeover Complete!

This landscape received a major refresh with:

✅ New Pavestone retaining wall edging
✅ Tree ring installation
✅ Complete bed clean-out and w**d removal
✅ Premium black triple-shredded mulch from Bzak Landscape Supply

This customer asked us to bring back the curb appeal, and this property got a major refresh.

We removed dead boxwoods, cleaned out a large amount of overgrowth, reshaped the beds, and finished everything with fresh black mulch. In the sunnier areas, we added color and structure with Potentilla, Yews, and annuals. In the shaded areas, we used Hostas, Ferns, Caladiums, and Coral Bells to keep it low-maintenance while still adding texture and color.

The result is a cleaner, brighter, more welcoming look around the home without creating a high-maintenance landscape.
