Do I need a whole new septic system, or can this be fixed?" Probably the question we get asked the most. 🔧

Here's the honest answer: most problems come down to something specific, a clogged line, a failing pump, a tank that needs pumping, not the drain field itself. We look at the whole system before recommending anything, and a full replacement is usually the last option, not the first one we jump to.

If someone tells you it needs to be fully replaced without checking things out first, get a second opinion.

Want your septic system to last longer? Two things to keep out of it. ⏳

Skip pouring grease down your drains, it hardens inside your pipes and tank over time, leading to clogs and backups. And make sure your water softener isn't draining into your septic system.

The salt and chemicals kill off the good bacteria your system needs to break down waste, which shortens its lifespan.

Thinking about landscaping over your septic area? One rule to know first. 🌳🚫

Skip the trees and shrubbery directly over your septic system. Roots naturally grow toward moisture, and your drain field is exactly that, which means they'll eventually find their way into your pipes and tank, leading to blockages or even damage that's expensive to fix.
