That nest under the porch ceiling did not appear overnight. Paper wasps started building in May, and by mid-June the queens are laying. Smaller than a fist this week, larger than a softball by July. The fix is easier and cheaper before they get defensive. Walk the perimeter, look up, and if you spot one, do not hit it with a broom. Call us and we will handle it without anyone getting stung.

Did you know most snakes you see around West Texas are not venomous? Bullsnakes, garter snakes, rat snakes. They keep mice down and stay out of the way. The ones to watch for are rattlesnakes and copperheads, and they tell on themselves with the rattle, the head shape, and where they sit. We get late-night calls about snakes year round.
