Huge milestone on this ADU build. Insulation, sheetrock, and plaster are complete, and the space is really starting to come together.

Now it is all about the finishes, flooring, paint, kitchen, and bathrooms. Final touches ahead and this one will be ready to go.

BIG progress this week. MEP rough is complete, the gunite pool shell is in, and utilities will be connected by week’s end.

Next week we roll into insulation and sheetrock, pool prep, retaining walls, and drainage. Started in October and moving FAST, this one is lining up for a 4th of July poolside finish.

Progress! The exterior of our ADU is nearly complete, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turning out. Next up are HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and we’ve already kicked off the pool installation as well. There’s still plenty ahead, but after pushing through a tough winter, the hardest part is behind us.

A quick interior framing walkthrough of our Vanderbilt ADU stock model.

This is where everything starts to take shape. Thoughtful layout, efficient use of space, and solid construction that sets the foundation for high end finishes later on. You can really see how the design flows once the walls are up.

Cold temps, snow on the ground, and plenty of winter days on site, but we’re officially weather tight and (almost) all trimmed out. Our Vanderbilt Model, the "Cadillac of ADUs", is coming along great. Interior work kicks off this month, and things are continuing to move fast. We think it looks fabulous!

Not a bad week! Momentum continues on this ADU build. Steel and bearing posts are installed, and second floor framing and roof trusses are nearing completion. Our streamlined construction process keeps projects moving efficiently, with the home fully sheathed, windows and doors installed, and weather tight in short order.

Framing is officially underway on our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom model ADU. The first floor is complete. We are gearing up to build the second floor roof next week.

This is a 1200 square foot design that complies with Rhode Island state ADU regulations, with additional smaller model options available depending on property size and zoning.

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom model ADU is officially underway. The foundation is complete and the first floor trusses are installed. Next up is full framing, roof trusses, windows and doors, and getting the structure fully weather tight.

This 1200 square foot ADU complies with Rhode Island state regulations and may be built by right on qualifying properties with a primary residence of at least 2000 square feet and a minimum 20000 square foot lot. We also offer smaller ADU models for properties with different size or zoning constraints.
