Inspired by habitat gardening and native plants, John now champions landscapes that work for people and nature.

From his design studio in Middleburg, Virginia, to his award-winning Native Plant Podcast, John is helping people see their yards differently.

Because the landscape surrounding our homes isn’t just decoration.

It can be habitat.

And the choices we make about what we plant can have consequences far beyond our property lines.
