Working with on her website was such a meaningful collaboration from start to finish!

Khelsey is an extraordinary violinist, improviser, teaching artist, and advocate whose work spans gospel, hip-hop, jazz, and classical music. As a 3Arts Make A Wave award recipient and a proud member of D-Composed, she continues to champion and uplift the work of Black composers while building a career that is both expansive and impactful. Her collaborations with artists like Jamila Woods, Tricia Hersey, Cheryl Lynne Bruce, Pamela Z, Nathalie Joachim, Pauli the PSM, Angel Bat Dawid, and Plinio Fernandes speak to the depth, versatility, and respect she’s earned across creative communities.

Throughout this process, we were intentional about creating something that could truly hold all of that. This isn’t just a bio it’s a living, evolving hub for her projects, collaborations, and the incredible body of work she continues to build.

The best part being that she also happens to be an incredible human and truly a joy to collaborate with!

What’s it like having your sister as your business partner?

Everything is always funny. You get to borrow each others things on work trips. Company meetings are sometimes interrupted by your parents needing something. Internal company slack channels have memes, curse words and weird emojis no one uses. We mostly always agree and when we don’t, our funny dramatic sarcasm diffuses the situation. Theo makes regular celebrity appearances. We sometimes say the same thing at the same time in front of clients because we have the same filler words and mannerisms. Company passwords are hilarious. By the end of every meeting with prospective clients or existing clients that are seeing us work together for the first time, everyone always says “you both have a great dynamic” 💅🏼

Feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to come speak to the Community Scholars at

During my time with them we were able to discuss how to develop a professional presence, communicate artistic identity, and understand how to share your work in a way that connects with audiences today. I’m especially thankful to for bringing me out and creating space for these conversations with such thoughtful and curious students.

I also had the opportunity to speak to studio, which led to another round of insightful discussion about career development and artistic identity. Also some of the nicest humans ever. Naturally I did not get a photo with Beth because we were really into our brunch

One of my favorite parts of my work is creative direction. absolutely DELIVERED some magical photos for students and professionals.

Thankful for institutions like Blair that continue to invest in empowering and preparing young artists.

72 hours in Nashville, 2 master classes, 1 residency & a photoshoot 😅 As I catch up on footage to post, here is the quickest recap of my thought after visiting

Spending a few days back in Nashville at the Blair School of Music was truly special. Getting to reconnect with such an inspiring community always reminds me why I care so deeply about supporting young artists.

During the visit, I had the opportunity to present in various masterclasses geared towards Emerging Artists. The main focus was exploring what it means to be a marketable musician today, beyond just playing well. We talked about building a professional presence, understanding your audience, and creating opportunities for yourself in an evolving industry.

My favorite moments were the conversations that unfolded afterward. There’s something really powerful that happens when a generation raised on social media begins to explore what authentic and sustainable self marketing actually looks like. The curiosity, honesty, and thoughtfulness in those discussions were incredibly energizing.

What continues to impress me most is the way Blair allocates resources to empower, inform, and equip the next generation of musicians. Seeing that level of intentional support for rising artists is remarkable.
