More insurance company issues. No roof should be inspected with a drone or camera on a pole. The insurance company flew a drone and informed the home owner the low slope had areas of blistering. Which is not the case, no blisters anywhere, just a few areas with the bitumen in a glob under the cap sheet. This roof does need minor maintenance, but nothing that warrants a complete replacement. Change the screws, properly resurface the low slope to extend the system for another 15 to 20 years.

Been so busy haven’t posted in awhile. So here is a metal building we are in progress with. We have stripped the shell, prepped, treated, and painted where needed on the purlins. Now we are putting the new panels up and then will custom fab new sliding doors.

Here is something personal. In 2007 we lost our oldest son to su***de at the age of 18. This had an unbelievably hard impact on our family. My phone is always open to anyone that needs an ear if they are in a dark place. Today marks 17 years Porky has been gone. He is missed every minute of every day. So this year I have decided to do more than just walk in this event. If you can donate or even just share the link it would be greatly appreciated. None of us know what the next person is going through.

This was a nice project, even though we had to fight the weather the whole way through. I have been fixing leaks on both of these buildings since I moved down here. I can only imagine how happy the tenants were during Tropical Storm Debby when they stayed dry. We removed the old coping, had to cut out some water blisters and repair. Then cleaned the entire roof and installed one coat of Unisil grey silicone at 1.5 gallons per 100 sq. feet. Then Unisil white silicone at 1.5 gallons per 100 sq. feet. We were also able to give them the manufacturers Emerald warranty for the next 10 years. My team did a great job on this project I can't thank them enough for their commitment to quality on the work done.
