Set along Miami Beach’s waterfront, this completed CPS Outdoors project brings together clean architectural lines, rich blue water, and carefully executed details that connect the pool to the home around it.

The elongated pool follows the geometry of the residence, creating a strong visual connection between the architecture and the waterfront. An infinity edge carries the eye toward the bay, while the integrated spa and broad entry steps add dimension to the water. Pale stone, tropical greenery, and surrounding terraces complete a setting that feels cohesive from every angle.

A finished space like this is the result of countless decisions—and the people responsible for getting them right.

Some evenings leave you with more than great memories—they remind you how much the people behind the work matter. 🥂

This past week, CPS had the honor of welcoming Master Pools Guild to Miami, and we kicked off their visit with a cocktail hour at our showroom. It was a chance to come together, share a few drinks, and enjoy conversations beyond the usual day-to-day.

Seeing our showroom filled with laughter, lively conversation, and so much energy made the evening special. We’re proud of the work we do, and moments like these make us even more grateful for the relationships we get to build along the way.

To everyone at MPG: thank you for making the trip, spending this time with us, and bringing such wonderful energy to our space. It meant a great deal to our team to host you, and we hope you felt as welcome as we were excited to have you here.

Renovation is not about replacing everything. It is about seeing what a space can become.

At this Star Island residence, CPS Outdoors reimagined the existing poolscape through a complete pool renovation, upgraded decking, integrated water features, architectural lighting and renewed landscaping.

The result is a more cohesive outdoor environment—one that feels lighter, more intentional and better connected to the home and waterfront setting.

A successful aquatic project is engineered long before construction begins.

This 3D equipment model is part of the technical design process our team uses to transform design intent into a coordinated, buildable system. CPS Outdoors provides in-house design and engineering capabilities that include:

• 3D and BIM equipment-room modeling
• Hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing and system-flow planning
• Pump, filtration, heating, treatment and control-system coordination
• Plumbing routing and pe*******on planning
• Equipment spacing, service clearance and maintenance access
• Clash detection and coordination with structural, architectural and MEP plans
• Constructability reviews and detailed installation documentation

Modeling the complete system allows us to evaluate how every component will fit, connect, operate and be serviced before work begins in the field. It also gives architects, engineers and general contractors a clearer view of the system—helping resolve conflicts earlier and reducing costly changes during construction.

30 floors above Miami, one of seven pools we’re building at the Waldorf Astoria Miami is beginning to take shape.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but even at this stage, it’s easy to see what will make this pool so special. The setting, the height, and those uninterrupted views across Miami create a backdrop that is hard to match.

Building pools at this level comes with an entirely different set of challenges. Every detail has to be carefully coordinated with the surrounding structure, building systems, access, logistics, and the many teams working throughout the tower.

This is just one piece of a much larger scope for CPS Outdoors at Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, where our team is responsible for the construction of seven pools throughout the development.

More progress to come.

Projects like these take a lot of trust. There are countless decisions along the way, a lot of moving parts, and plenty of moments where communication, follow-through, and attention to detail make all the difference.
